Responsibilities
- Delivers fundamental account management for designated accounts, including daily order processing based on established protocols.
- Tracks and updates customer account status and collection activities within the note system.
- Develops skills to identify, compose, and submit credit review suggestions to management for evaluation and approval.
- Proactively contacts customers after review with department management when credit limits exceed orders, special orders are submitted, or past due balances prevent order releases.
- Collaborates with management or other credit representatives to assess customer records and suggests payment plans based on sales compensation, payment history, relationship duration, and reason for arrears.
- Contacts and reports on all customers with past due balances of 31 days or more monthly via a spreadsheet for management review using an Aged Trial Balance.
- Accesses various databases for research and processing, including CyberSource, Web-Admin, Oracle, and Lightning Bug system.
- Handles credit card data, updates customer or publisher websites with credit card information, or provides assistance for customers or publishers to navigate and update on their own.
- Learns to escheat unclaimed property according to applicable state laws and prepares and mails escheatment letters.
- Interacts with various departments such as Client Services, Sales, Accounts Payable, Returns, and IT to resolve issues.
- May initiate third-party placements through their online system and serves as a liaison between the agency and management.
