Braze is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Design to lead one of our most exciting creative tech accounts. You will partner directly with clients in an embedded capacity, creating world-class CRM emails that adhere to standards and push creative in new directions. You'll be hands-on as an experienced designer while guiding other designers as a project lead.
What You'll Do
- Partner directly with clients in an embedded capacity to create world-class CRM emails.
- Be hands-on in the work as an experienced designer while guiding other designers as a project lead.
- Understand and challenge clients’ needs to ensure the integrity and excellence of our work.
- Succeed in an embedded capacity, working alongside clients daily, representing Kettle while remaining an active member of the agency community.
- Be the person the client looks up to for inspiration and creative questions, helping them understand the team’s perspective and align on the creative North Star.
- Explore multiple unique, on-brand creative solutions to answer the brief and encourage your team to do the same.
- Guide your team to create own-able experiences for the client through simple concepts, innovative design, and on-point tone & voice.
- Work with cross-functional leads to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short and long-term needs.
- Consistently demonstrate expertise in the competitive landscape and stay abreast of design culture and best-in-class creative.
- Manage and mentor designers of all levels, helping them chart their career path and providing growth opportunities.
- Embrace challenges and solution with teammates and clients.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in digital design.
- Email/CRM case studies and campaigns.
- Ability to create pixel perfect designs while innovating work.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners (copy, motion, production, client).
- Excellent client collaboration and management skills, with ability to present work internally and to senior level clients.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior to senior level designers, including formal/informal reviews and talent development.

- Experience with similar global creative tech clients.
