About the Role
The Contract Associate Corporate Counsel will provide legal support to the research and development team, focusing on intellectual property, contracts, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
- Advise on intellectual property strategies and transactions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of agreements.
- Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues.
- Provide legal support for research and development projects.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues.
- Support the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Manage outside counsel and external legal service providers.
- Assist in the development of legal strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure the protection of the company's intellectual property portfolio.
- Advise on data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
- Support the development of legal training programs and materials.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance and compliance issues.
- Assist in the management of legal disputes and litigation.
- Support the development of legal budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and reporting requirements.
- Support the development of legal risk management strategies.
- Provide legal advice on employment and labor law matters.
- Assist in the development of legal policies and procedures for research and development.
- Support the development of legal strategies for intellectual property protection.
- Provide legal advice on environmental and sustainability matters.
- Assist in the development of legal strategies for data protection and privacy.
- Provide legal support for international research and development projects.
