Derex Technologies Inc seeks an Associate, Corporate Communications to shape and share DoorDash’s corporate story through media relations, digital-first content, and operational excellence. This role is for a strategic thinker and detail-oriented executor who thrives in fast-paced environments.

What You'll Do

Help tell the story of how DoorDash empowers local economies through proactive and reactive communications.
Contribute to digital-first storytelling by translating corporate narratives into content ideas for platforms like LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
Shape clear, compelling messaging and materials that advance corporate storytelling and strengthen reputation.
Draft, edit, and organize press releases, newsroom posts, Q&As, executive bios, and coverage summaries.
Support major company milestones through earned media, owned social content, and creative activations.
Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and announcement logistics for smooth execution.
Maintain operational systems by tracking media opportunities, updating assets, and managing communications infrastructure.
Identify and apply AI and automation tools to streamline monitoring, reporting, and data tracking.

What We're Looking For

2–4 years of experience in communications, brand strategy, PR, journalism, or a related field.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, creative, or cross-functional environments.
Adaptable communicator able to turn complex topics into clear, engaging stories.
Ownership mindset, combining strategic thinking with strong execution and attention to detail.
Digitally fluent and culturally curious, with a feel for how storytelling evolves across platforms.
Exercise sound judgment and discretion, handling sensitive information with composure.
Collaborate naturally, communicate clearly, and build strong, trusted relationships across teams.

Nice to Have

Interest in exploring how technology, including AI, can improve how teams communicate, track, and measure impact.

Reports into the Manager, Corporate Communications on our Corporate Communications team in our Communications organization.
