Clarivate is seeking an Associate Consultant to join our Commercial Consulting practice focused on the Life Sciences and Healthcare sectors. In this role, you will be a critical member of project teams, providing analytical insight and leadership on client engagements and internal initiatives. You will help define projects, build work plans, and develop robust conclusions and recommendations for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead and execute various primary and secondary research efforts needed for client projects.
- Conduct qualitative research through desktop research and interviews with KOLs, physicians, providers, payors, and industry experts.
- Perform quantitative analysis, including financial modeling, data manipulation, and claims analysis, to develop accurate product and market forecasts.
- Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine the 'so-what' for clients.
- Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs.
- Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, and white papers.
- Engage on multiple client projects, manage time commitments effectively, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time.
- Support senior team members in business development efforts including greenfield research, proposal development, and responding to RFPs.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS in a life science, business, or related field, or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy within life sciences or healthcare. An advanced degree can be considered in lieu of experience.
- Experience with all Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.
Nice to Have
- An MS, MPH, or PhD would be a plus.
- Direct experience working with biopharma or life sciences customers.
- Comfort performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis, including the execution of both primary and secondary research.
