The Hershey Company is hiring an Associate Brand Manager to drive marketing initiatives and support the growth of our iconic brands. In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic plans for high-visibility programs, leveraging consumer insights to deliver innovation, renovation, and promotional strategies that maximize revenue and share.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement seasonal marketing strategies for the Grocery category, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
- Lead planning for seasonal programs, including packaging, merchandising, and promotional activities to drive incremental sales and share.
- Support the identification of white-space opportunities and consumer trends to inform innovation and renovation projects.
- Manage timelines and cross-functional inputs to deliver new profitable product launches.
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for pricing, promotion, and portfolio optimization.
- Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and external agencies to ensure seamless program execution.
- Act as the seasonal subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
- Own total Snacks & Grocery budget, monitor spend, and track ROI to ensure financial targets are met.
- Provide input into annual planning and deliver post-program performance reviews.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in brand management or marketing within the CPG industry.
- Familiarity with syndicated data tools (Nielsen, IRI) and financial analysis.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies that align with long-term brand and business objectives.
- Proficiency in analyzing syndicated data, financial metrics, and consumer insights to drive data-based decisions.
- Strong capability to manage a P&L.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategies and influence stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and ability to translate insights into action.
