Scotiabank is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity Sponsor Coverage Group. In this role, you will contribute to the profitable growth and quality of the Bank’s Commercial Credit portfolio by supporting senior team members. You will analyze deals, assist with transaction execution, and help deepen client relationships within our purpose-driven team.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to Commercial loan portfolio growth and profitability.
- Perform analytic functions and due diligence activities on deals.
- Assist with the execution of transactions including deal write-up and analysis activities.
- Support the 'Deal Team' with company and industry analysis.
- Assist the Director and Associate Director in all aspects of their business development activities.
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
