IES Global is hiring an Assistant Vice President of Global Marketing to oversee all marketing efforts across the organization. This strategic leadership role spans the IES Global, IES Abroad, IES Internships, Customized & Faculty-Led, and Study Abroad Foundation business lines, driving brand positioning and student engagement.
What You'll Do
- Lead a high-performing IES Global Marketing team, including IES Abroad and Study Abroad Foundation marketers.
- Directly supervise the Director of Branding, Art Director, Director of International Marketing, SAF, Assistant Director of Web Strategy & Development, and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment and participate in select IES Abroad committees and governance bodies.
- Develop, advocate for, and manage the annual marketing budget and third-party partner contracts.
- Set standards and development for Marketing managers and represent marketing across all organizational levels.
- Build effective cross-departmental relationships and evaluate and develop team processes.
- Analyze market, competitor, and industry trends to optimize marketing efforts.
- Drive strategies for core marketing efforts, including paid and organic, web experience, print, email, social media, and content.
- Establish routine measurement of marketing efforts and present data to senior leadership.
- Manage all online, on-campus, and print advertising campaign strategy and budget.
- Oversee the management and development of website applications and ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Prioritize the student user experience across mediums and throughout the student journey.
- Oversee organic search engine presence, email marketing campaigns, and social media strategy.
- Ensure branding consistency across all mediums, online, in-person, and in print.
- Develop and implement an innovative design and print strategy and lead organization-wide branding.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of marketing experience, including managing direct reports and cross-platform brand and marketing strategies.
- 7+ years of proven supervisory skills and experience.
- Proven managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a dynamic and creative team.
- Strategic and innovative planning experience, including demonstrated vision-setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to convey ideas and data to varied audiences.
- Proactive, results-oriented problem-solving skills and experience with market research and data-informed strategy development.
- Analytical skills are a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have
- International Education industry-related experience is highly preferred.
- An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
Team & Environment
You will lead a global team that includes roles in branding, creative design, international marketing, web strategy, and digital marketing. You will directly supervise the Director of Branding, Art Director, Director of International Marketing, SAF, Assistant Director of Web Strategy & Development, and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing & Institutional Relations.
