Penguin Random House is hiring an Assistant to the Production Manager for our GGP Media GmbH site in Pößneck, Thüringen. You will play a key role in optimizing production processes and driving technical investments within a large-scale print manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Accompany active process optimization in production
- Identify and implement optimization potential in processes and machine configurations for printing and finishing
- Lead project management for technical investment projects, including research, planning, implementation, and follow-up
- Conduct ongoing market observation and trend scouting
- Perform performance analyses
- Serve as the primary point of contact for energy management
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in printing/finishing, or a completed apprenticeship with corresponding further qualification in the graphic industry
- Proven experience in the field of energy management
- Enthusiasm for identifying innovations and optimization potential, and implementing them consistently
- Strong analytical skills
- The ability to work independently and communicate openly
- Strong team skills
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Production Manager and join a site of more than 700 employees in Pößneck.
