Bradken is hiring an Assistant Technical Writer to join our team in Lima, Peru. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the accurate technical documents that define our product specifications and usage guidelines, supporting our global operations.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain accurate technical documents defining product specifications and usage guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments (order processing, inventory, sales) to create supporting documentation.
- Create presentations to support design reviews by stakeholders.
- Draft technical documentation and manuals for internal and external manufacturers.
- Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time using planning and organizational skills.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and internal Bradken specifications, standards, and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Metallurgy).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical document writing.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential (Intermediate English).
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects, teams, and clients.
- Experience in engineering projects, client sites, contractors, and research institutions.
Nice to Have
- Relevant work experience in foundries, mining, or related industries.
- DFMEA, 2D/3D CAD skills.
- Teamcenter software experience.
