OCBC Bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager – Global Transportation for its Global Corporate Bank. This role is a key member of the Global Transportation team, providing crucial support to Relationship Managers and the Business Head in daily operations, client care, and relationship management. You will be directly involved in client engagements and transactions, interfacing with various internal departments to deliver exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Assist Relationship Managers in managing a portfolio of corporate clients, building strong relationships through regular communication.
- Conduct meetings with clients to understand their business goals and challenges.
- Collaborate with product specialists to design and deliver tailored financial solutions.
- Drive account strategies to achieve business targets by working with overseas colleagues and product partners to cross-sell trade, treasury, cash management, and capital markets products.
- Provide exceptional client service by responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in preparing credit papers, conducting financial analysis, and managing post-credit approval activities, including covenant monitoring, documentation drafting, and syndicated facility coordination.
- Work with Compliance to handle end-to-end client onboarding and periodic reviews, including KYC questionnaires and document follow-up.
- Identify opportunities across the entire value chain in Singapore and overseas markets to enhance client satisfaction and support revenue growth.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, economics, or accountancy.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in corporate banking or a related field.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of financial products and services, including corporate lending, treasury, and cash management.
- A good team player who is self-motivated, proactive, and possesses a growth mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
