California State University, Office of the Chancellor is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Marketing. The successful candidate will teach marketing courses, conduct research in consumer behavior, and contribute to departmental and university service. What You'll Do
- Teach marketing courses such as Consumer Behavior and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), as well as other foundational courses as needed.
- Maintain an active research pipeline and publish research in the consumer behavior area in peer-reviewed journals.
- Hold weekly office hours and attend faculty meetings.
- Participate in assessment of student learning.
- Provide service to the department, college, and university.
- Teach on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or online as required.
- Help the Department achieve equitable academic outcomes for all students through teaching, student mentorship, scholarship, and service.
What We're Looking For
- A Ph.D. in Marketing, or Business or Management with a concentration in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment (August 2027).
- College or university-level teaching experience in consumer behavior, IMC, and/or other foundational marketing courses, in-person and/or online.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, publishing marketing research in the consumer behavior area in peer-reviewed journals.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $130,000 to $145,000, dependent upon qualifications.
