Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is hiring an Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Experience. In this role, you will serve as the primary marketing contact for Women’s Volleyball and the Football Block Party, while also driving student engagement across events and supervising marketing interns for other varsity sports. Your work will focus on creating first-class game-day experiences, generating revenue, and boosting student attendance.
What You'll Do
- Produce first-class game presentations, including script writing, videoboard production, music coordination, and theme development for assigned sports.
- Generate revenue opportunities through Beaver Stadium Block Party activations at each home football game.
- Lead student engagement initiatives to drive student attendance and participation at athletic events.
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising marketing employees, with direct supervision of marketing interns.
- Collaborate with external units—including strategic communications, creative services, ticketing, and sponsorship—to ensure all program deliverables are met.
- Utilize a growth mindset to provide feedback and make recommendations for new policies, procedures, and programs to support continual financial improvement.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Team & Environment
Reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Fan Experience.

- Compensation: $46,400.00 - $67,300.00
