EY is looking for an Assistant Director - Client Executive / Business Development - Growth Markets to join our team in the UAE. You will be central to driving growth, enhancing client satisfaction, and leading strategic pursuits across key accounts in the MENA region and Growth Markets. This client-centric role leverages EY's global network to deliver tailored solutions for complex needs.
What You'll Do
- Establish trusted, long-term relationships with clients, particularly at the 'C' level, acting as a consultative advisor to identify needs and propose value-adding solutions.
- Drive revenue, sales, and pipeline growth through strategic account planning, opportunity management, and market initiatives.
- Participate in complex pursuits, leading presentations, negotiations, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with service line leaders to develop and deploy service line growth strategies, strategic campaigns, and pursuit coverage.
- Provide strategic insights into market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
- Implement account management excellence using EY’s frameworks, monitor pipeline health, and participate in revenue planning.
- Coach and mentor junior business development staff and client-serving professionals to build high-performing teams.

- Proven ability to sell complex solutions and services at the 'C' level.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
- Expertise in account management, pipeline development, and opportunity creation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client-facing presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, thrive in fast-paced, multi-cultural environments, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with formal tendering processes, proposals, and pursuit methodologies.
- Skill in transforming data into strategic insights to drive impactful business development decisions.
Nice to Have
- Graduate or higher degree in business or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of business development experience in professional services or solution-selling environments.
- A proven track record of driving growth, managing multiple accounts, and delivering measurable results.
- Experience working in multi-country environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Flexibility to travel within the region.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with service line leaders, Regional Managing Partners, and business development teams to align on strategy and execution.
