BT was looking for an Asset Team Manager

BT is hiring an Asset Team Manager for a specialist security team focused on protecting critical national infrastructure. This role carries significant technical leadership responsibilities and accountability for a major area of work, requiring DV-level security clearance. You’ll join a team dedicated to using the power of communication to make a better world.

What You'll Do

  • Hold defined authority and responsibility for a significant technical area of work.
  • Establish technical objectives and delegate responsibilities effectively.
  • Influence your own organization at a senior level and engage with customers, suppliers, and industry leaders.
  • Direct work resourcing, own site issues, and drive problem resolution.
  • Perform technical coaching and mentoring for team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Must have lived in the UK for 10+ years to obtain DV Security Clearance.
  • An experienced professional with knowledge of telecommunications networks.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail when following precise processes and procedures.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge or experience with Asset and Configuration Management (A&CM) systems or processes, or the aptitude to learn.
  • ITIL experience or accreditation.
  • Experience using spreadsheets to populate and manipulate data to a moderate level of competency.
