Groundfloor’s Lending business unit is looking for a high-performing Asset Manager to join its Servicing team. You will be responsible for borrower communications, loan administration, and driving loan repayments while fostering long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound calls to borrowers to maintain communication, receive project updates, and foster long-term relationships.
- Respond to inbound and outbound email communications in a timely manner.
- Generate weekly and monthly repayment projections and identify loans requiring escalation.
- Manage and monitor third-party vendor performance.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, bringing ideas for process improvements and surfacing issues with resolution recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience in loan servicing, residential asset management, construction loan oversight, and default management.
- Comfort and confidence with phone-based borrower communications.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Default or special servicing residential loan experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lending practices, loan documents, and residential real estate partnership agreements.
- Self-driven mindset with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets and monitoring portfolio health.
- Organized and thrives in multitasking environments.
- Flexible, responsive, and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and adeptness with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years experience in residential mortgage servicing, with RTL experience as a plus.
- BA/BS degree.
- Interest in finance, startups, and real estate.
- Excellent communication skills, with investor-facing experience preparing and presenting loan-level and portfolio updates.
