Assent is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in Pune to support our India operations. In this role, you will collaborate with teams and leadership to execute programs that attract, retain, and engage Assentees. You will be responsible for the efficient delivery of global Employee Experience programs and processes while ensuring compliance with local regulations and fostering a positive work environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to leaders to enable informed decision-making aligned with organizational values.
- Partner with HR colleagues to create, influence, and administer global HR programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as the first point of contact for local Assentees for policy guidance and interpretation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with local Business Operations and Senior Leadership teams to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Manage and resolve employee relations matters, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair application of HR policies.
- Understand external factors impacting talent supply, competitive positioning, and compensation.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour regulations, employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
- Participate in planning and executing team social events and wellness initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with Talent Acquisition to ensure timely recruitment and with Talent Acceleration on development programs.
- Support a culture of continuous feedback and learning through performance programs, onboarding, and development.
What We're Looking For
- At least 8+ years of work experience as a Business Partner supporting Senior Executive and/or C-level leaders.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
- A blend of operational and relational Human Resources knowledge.
- Experience identifying and building strategic cross-functional partnerships across all business levels.
- A passion for high-quality service and delivering exceptional business support.
- A creative thinker with a positive attitude who brings forward solutions.
- Highly adaptable and flexible, thriving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Persistent and patient, with the ability to stay calm and reasonable under pressure.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; an articulate and persuasive communicator.
- A high level of professionalism and respect for confidential and sensitive information.
