Standard Bots is hiring an Assembly Technician to build and test our robotic systems. You will apply hands-on manufacturing expertise to assemble and test our production models.
What You'll Do
- Assemble production robots and components according to specifications
- Report quality and process issues to Production Supervisor
- Maintain a safe working environment following company and industry standards
- Manage material handling and distribution to work stations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in mass production environments
- 1+ year experience in assembly, maintenance/repair, and/or working with hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Collaborative team player
Nice to Have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or electromechanical manufacturing
- Machine shop equipment experience
- OSHA knowledge
Team & Environment
You will partner closely with our production manager and the broader engineering team, reporting directly to the Production Supervisor.
