Bausch + Lomb is looking for an Aseptic Filling Operator I to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role is central to our mission of helping you see better, to live better. You will control the aseptic filling line, ensuring product is filled into sterilized containers according to strict Standard Operating Procedures and Aseptic Technique.
What You'll Do
- Set up lines for production and select the correct components for use.
- Operate equipment to aseptically fill product containers and continually monitor the process.
- Perform routine process and product inspections.
- Complete all process documentation and communicate to appropriate personnel.
- Manage components to support production.
- Maintain the area in an orderly and sterile state by removing culls, documenting inspections, and performing disinfection activities.
- Support all functions of the APA as needed.
- Perform other duties as directed, including assistance with CIP/SIP, Prep, and repack.
- Participate in process improvement project work.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- 2 years of manufacturing experience or an advanced education degree (2 or 4 year).
- Strong reading and math comprehension.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Computer skills including MS Outlook & Excel.
- Ability to navigate web-based computer applications.
Nice to Have
- Previous aseptic/clean room experience.
- Aseptic manufacturing experience.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation of $20.00 per hour plus a $2.25 per hour shift differential.
