ActioNet, Inc. is hiring a QA Engineer to join the ARRISE Careers team and focus on ensuring software quality for iGaming products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and delivering releases to production.
What You'll Do
- Go through software requirements and get clarifications.
- Become familiar with the software under test and any related software.
- Understand the master test plan and/or the project plan.
- Create or assist in creating your own test plans.
- Generate test cases based on requirements and other documents.
- Procure or create test data required for testing.
- Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).
- Deliver releases to production using CI/CD tools.
- Report test results.
- Update test cases based on discovered defects.
- Support the team with testing tasks as required.
- Keep up-to-date on development technology, popular testing tools, and the business domain overview.
What We're Looking For
- Working as a Quality Assurance Engineer for 5+ years.
- Good experience in manual testing of web applications with a main focus on backend.
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Good knowledge and practical experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Good knowledge and practical experience with Git.
- Practical experience with microservices.
- Advanced skills in requirements analysis.
- Good knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.
- Deep understanding and experience in software development life cycle.
- Excellent skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify defect root cause.
- Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis.
- Intermediate English level.
- Strong proactiveness and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Gitflow usage will be a plus.
