Diagrid is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help build Diagrid Conductor, a SaaS platform that automates the operational complexity of running Dapr in production. You will work across the stack to design, build, and operate core features for customers running Dapr and Kubernetes-based systems at scale.
What You'll Do
- Design and build new Conductor capabilities, from backend services to frontend user experiences.
- Develop features around Dapr operations, Kubernetes orchestration, observability, and cost optimization.
- Integrate with cloud provider APIs and Kubernetes APIs to automate operational workflows.
- Work with Go and cloud-native tooling to deliver secure, scalable features.
- Collaborate with product, design, and support teams to deliver customer-driven enhancements.
- Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.
- Contribute to system reliability by owning features end-to-end—from design and testing to deployment and monitoring.
- Mentor other engineers and share expertise in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and SaaS product delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in designing and building distributed systems.
- 2+ years operating a public cloud service or platform in production.
- 2+ years of experience with Go.
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker or other container based systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud or similar cloud provider.
- Solid understanding of computer science principles with a focus on distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to mentor early-career engineers.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dapr.
