SwingDev is hiring a Mid Back-end Engineer (NodeJS) to join our Risk&Capital team. You will design, build, and maintain the critical backend systems that power our risk and capital platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement scalable and reliable backend services using Node.js
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for the Risk&Capital platform
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define and build new features
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional back-end development experience
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and data structures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
Nice to Have
- Experience in the finance, risk, or capital markets domain
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers
