Drive Sales Growth in a High-Performance Aesthetic Technology Environment
As the Area Sales Manager for Southern California, you will lead business development across a defined territory, focusing on expanding market share for a full portfolio of advanced aesthetic laser systems. This field-based position requires proactive outreach, strategic planning, and consistent relationship-building with physicians, practice owners, and key decision-makers in the medical aesthetics space.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute targeted sales strategies through cold outreach, in-person visits, and virtual engagement to identify and convert new clients
- Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and practice dynamics to position solutions that deliver measurable clinical and financial outcomes
- Guide prospects through every stage of the sales cycle with a consultative approach, emphasizing value over price
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM records, ensuring pipeline visibility and alignment with leadership
- Deliver product demonstrations and clinical education tailored to diverse audiences, translating technical capabilities into real-world benefits
- Represent the brand at industry events, tradeshows, and key opinion leader forums to expand reach and credibility
- Manage logistics including travel, equipment handling, and administrative tasks with discipline and professionalism
- Stay current on product advancements, competitive offerings, and market trends to maintain a strategic edge
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience selling capital equipment, ideally within medical aesthetics, dermatology, or a related clinical technology field
- Proven success in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments with extended decision cycles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, territory, and pipeline efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel 50–75% within the region, including flexible hours as needed
- Physical capability to transport and set up demonstration equipment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and extended periods of standing or walking
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a focus on clarity, integrity, and customer trust
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, communications, or a related field is preferred
- History of top-tier performance, such as President’s Club qualification, is highly valued
