Nacre Capital is seeking an Area Sales Manager to spearhead growth and adoption for Seed-X’s AI technology within the Italian vegetable seed market. This is a hands-on, hunter role for a commercially astute individual who will be the face of Seed-X in the territory, driving new business and building lasting relationships.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for Seed-X's AI-powered solutions in your assigned country.
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with major seed companies and vegetable breeders.
- Become an expert on the AI-powered sorting platforms and articulate complex technical and value propositions clearly to both commercial and technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trusting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Conduct deep market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends in vegetable seed and AgTech.
- Utilize CRM software rigorously to manage the entire sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on territory performance.
- Work closely with R&D and Marketing teams to provide on-the-ground customer feedback for continuous product and service improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Sales orientation: A young, ambitious, and sales-oriented person ideally with a focus on high-value B2B technical solutions.
- Tech savvy: Strong understanding of new technologies, AI/data, and the ability to sell a technical, data-driven product.
- CRM Proficiency: Knowledge and daily use of a major CRM platform for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Native or professional fluency in Italian is mandatory.
- Fluent professional English is mandatory.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter & ambitious: Highly energetic, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously in a remote setup with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned country to meet clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site product demonstrations.
Nice to Have
- Direct sales experience within the vegetable seed industry (e.g., selling vegetable seeds, crop protection, or related services) or Agri-Technology (AgTech).
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or a related technical field.
