About the Role

Air Liquide is seeking an Area Manager to lead business development and operations for our Home Healthcare business in your area, with a focus on respiratory and sleep apnea services. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance, and managing a team across multiple branches in Ottawa, ON.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth across branches, focusing on increasing market share and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand respiratory services and patient base.
  • Accountable for achieving the territory’s financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Oxygen and Sleep businesses.
  • Expand the B2B sales model by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and sleep clinics.
  • Lead and manage a team of employees across multiple branches, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Drive team performance by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance management.
  • Ensure all area operations are conducted in full compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Drive referrals from key accounts and referral sources, ensuring a seamless referral process.
  • Schedule team for most efficient coverage of territory including on-call rotation for off hours and weekends.
  • Responsible for the efficient and cost effective implementation of Home Healthcare processes and procedures at area level.
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager to ensure products, assets and inventory are maintained and traced properly.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager to ensure staff are properly trained and qualified.
  • Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and developing staff and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures while encouraging open communication.
  • Recruit new staff when approved with support from Regional Director and Human Resources Department.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience with supervision of employees in a business or clinical setting.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on financial performance.
  • Relationship building and B2B sales expertise.
  • Customer-focused with an emphasis on driving referral marketing.
  • Experience in a role that has financial accountability and managing P&L.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

Team & Environment

You will lead and manage a team of employees across multiple branches within your area, reporting to the Regional Director.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary band starting at the minimum of $85,000 with opportunity for advancement.

Work Mode

This is a local-city position based in Ottawa, ON.
