Sundance Consultants is hiring an Archaeologist Principal Investigator/Field Director for a full-time, remote position. You will be responsible for leading archaeological projects throughout the Southwest United States.
What You'll Do
- Lead and direct all phases of field archaeological projects in the Southwest.
- Oversee field crews, manage data collection, and ensure project quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports and deliverables in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience as a Principal Investigator and/or Field Director in archaeology.
- Demonstrated expertise with Southwestern US archaeology and cultural resources.
- Ability to meet Secretary of the Interior Professional Qualifications Standards.
- Strong organizational, technical writing, and leadership skills.
Work Mode
This is a full-time, remote role requiring the candidate to be based in or able to work extensively across the Southwest United States.
