Spreetail is seeking a Director, Trade Compliance to oversee our import and export operations and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. This role is critical for building and scaling our compliance framework in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage all import/export compliance activities
Develop, implement, and maintain trade compliance policies and procedures
Ensure regulatory adherence for a multi-state operation
Manage internal and external compliance audits
Provide strategic guidance on trade compliance risks and opportunities
Build and lead a compliance-focused culture across the organization

What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience in international trade compliance
Expert knowledge of US import and export regulations (CBP, BIS, DDTC)
Proven experience building and managing compliance programs from the ground up
Strong leadership skills with experience influencing cross-functional teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, Ohio, New Jersey, or New Hampshire.
