Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive proposals for automated assembly systems
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to gather input for project estimates
- Create process workflows, conceptual designs, budgets, and cycle time evaluations
- Determine labor, materials, risks, costs, and timelines for each project phase
- Secure vendor quotes, identify new suppliers, and promote advancements in manufacturing methods
- Interpret customer requirements and communicate them clearly across teams
- Lead meetings related to quoting and project planning as necessary
- Support project initiation and engineering teams with design concepts and client details
- Help expand reusable reference libraries using actual cost data to improve future estimates
- Represent the company during customer visits and meetings, sometimes at client locations
- Manage customer relationships and inquiries in a professional manner
- Provide timely updates to internal leadership on project progress and changes
- Actively demonstrate and uphold the organization's ten Operating Principles in daily work
