The United Football League (UFL) seeks an Applications Engineer IV to join our Network Tools Services team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance applications supporting customer requirements across multiple hosting platforms. You will focus on existing applications and GUIs, including NetFlow and Port Security dashboards for Linux VM environments.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance existing applications and GUIs, including NetFlow and Port Security dashboards.
- Support customer requirements across multiple hosting platforms (OpenStack, AWS, and VMWare) for Linux VMs.
- Maintain and enhance GUI frontends for Connectivity, NetFlow & Port Security, and SNMP.
- Provide backend support in Typescript for new and enhanced features.
- Maintain poller, collectors, and data ingest functions using Java and Python.
- Perform database management with systems like MongoDB and Postgres.
What We're Looking For
- Current TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.
- Experience monitoring and managing production Linux VMs.
- Experience with system architecting and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Ansible, Java, Python, and containerization.
- Experience as a team lead and in full stack development.
- Familiarization with Haipe.
- IAT Level 2 Certification.
Nice to Have
- RedHat certification.
- Experience with Git, Splunk, Typescript, Angular 10+, and Java.
- Experience with MongoDB, Kubernetes (Docker), and relational databases like MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, Sybase.
