Quevera is seeking an Applications Engineer II (SEAR) to support the United Football League (UFL). You'll join a dynamic community that fosters innovation and collaboration, building and supporting the infrastructure that powers solutions for a major sports league.
What You'll Do
- Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers.
- Monitor and perform patching and upgrades to Linux servers and AWS instances.
- Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
- Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
- Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
- Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
- Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete, excess, or replaced hardware.
- Document inventory changes.
What We're Looking For
- Current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance.
- Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux server administration experience (within the last 3 years).
- Proficient with AWS. Minimum of 1 year of AWS experience (within the last year).
- Experience with either Ansible or Salt.
- Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and AWS instances.
- Security+ certification.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge, ability to use and/or support with some or most of the following: Linux servers, AWS, Ansible, Salt, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Scripting (bash, Python).
