EY is hiring an Application Engineering Technical Lead II to provide expert-level technical leadership and services. As part of Client Technology, you will blend EY’s deep industry knowledge with our platforms and technical expertise, working with technologists and business experts to evaluate, configure, and implement new and existing technologies.
What You'll Do
- Provide expert-level IT technical lead services and direction for critical software, middleware, or hardware projects across multiple platforms.
- Ensure the viability of IT deliverables, recommend development options, and approve the team's technical deliverables.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security.
- Identify and approve technical solutions, resolve complex technical problems, and perform root cause analysis.
- Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications, evaluating the impact of change requests.
- Maintain current knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture design, and technical standards.
- Mentor IT staff, identify training needs, and ensure team adoption of new standards.
- Review, approve, and author technical documentation, including standards, processes, and architecture diagrams.
- Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the product life cycle and present technical status at reviews.
- Thoroughly understand and comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
