WM is seeking an Android Software Development Manager to direct the design, development, and support of mobile technology applications and projects. In this leadership role, you will guide a team focused on delivering impactful solutions.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with business owners to determine needs and requirements.
- Plan initiatives and projects, establish priorities, and monitor progress.
- Act as team leader and project manager, setting direction and common goals.
- Evaluate team status and resource utilization to improve effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other managers to integrate projects with broader applications and initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentations, and coordinate communication between peers, team, business owners, and management.
- Oversee career development, performance management, pay determination, and team communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field; or a High School Diploma/GED plus four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Six (6) years of relevant work experience in addition to the education requirement.
- Deep expertise in Android app development with Kotlin/Java and modern architectures.
- Strong working knowledge of Python for backend or automation tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into mobile apps using tools like TensorFlow Lite or AWS AI services.
- May require in-depth skills in implementation and support, large-scale data centers, application development projects, application testing, analytical skills, general IT knowledge, and project management.
