Applies advanced knowledge of Android development and cloud platforms, combined with leadership and project management expertise, to ensure technology efforts support broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Guides a team in creating and maintaining IT systems and applications, particularly in mobile technology development.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify and define requirements.
- Plans and prioritizes technical initiatives, tracking progress and adjusting as needed.
- Provides leadership by setting team goals, direction, and fostering collaboration.
- Assesses team performance and resource allocation to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Coordinates with peer managers to align projects across departments.
- Produces reports and facilitates communication across teams, management, and business units.
- Manages team development, including performance reviews, compensation decisions, and internal communication.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Android app development using Kotlin or Java and modern architectural patterns.
- Proficiency in Python for backend services or automation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML features into mobile apps using TensorFlow Lite or AWS AI services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field; alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with four years of relevant experience.
- Six years of relevant professional experience beyond educational requirements.
- In-depth skills in one or more areas such as application development, testing, data centers, project management, or analytical functions.
