Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the analytical data model using Snowflake and dbt to ensure data is accurate, organized, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with business partners to assess analytics requirements and convert them into functional data models and datasets.
- Analyze and resolve data metric inconsistencies through cross-system root-cause investigations.
- Oversee ELT pipeline performance and integrity across the data architecture.
- Troubleshoot and fix pipeline errors, schema changes, and data quality issues.
- Find and implement improvements to enhance pipeline stability, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive data model documentation, including business logic and definitions.
- Structure and document datasets to support consistent use across analytics platforms and internal processes.
- Support internal AI systems by contributing to data context files that improve metric interpretation.
- Assist in enforcing data governance, including PII handling policies and secure data practices.
- Partner with Product, Revenue, and Operations teams to understand and fulfill their data requirements.
- Guide stakeholders in navigating the data model to select appropriate datasets for their objectives.
- Occasionally create or update Hex projects to enable data analysis and reporting.
