At Bombardier, we design, build, and maintain peak-performing aircraft for discerning global clients. We are looking for an Analyst, Strategy & Business Development to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage strategic initiatives related to indirect procurement and supply chain optimization, developing governance frameworks and supporting leadership through cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage strategic initiatives related to indirect procurement and supply chain optimization.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks, performance tools, and reporting mechanisms to support leadership decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across departments such as Procurement, Logistics, IT, and Finance.
- Support change management efforts for new tools, systems, and processes impacting supply chain operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced supplier relationships.
- Design and develop high-impact, executive-level strategy presentations.
- Act as the lead for governance meeting preparation and follow-up to ensure departmental KPIs and Master Plans are achieved.
- Coordinate and communicate project status to stakeholders and upper management.
- Recommend strategies that support company objectives and support ad-hoc requirements at department and team levels.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, an MBA, or an equivalent degree.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in a similar Analyst role.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills without formal authority, plus strong communication skills capable of negotiating with, aligning, and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to work under minimum supervision in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable, curious, and effective at problem-solving.
- Strong organization and time management skills with a commitment to delivering on promises.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills; ability to simplify and convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French on a daily basis.
- Ability to work on site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two days per week, sometimes more, as per policy.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of direct experience in a similar Analyst role.
- Training or experience in Change Management.
- Proficiency across the Office 365 suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of coding languages such as Python (asset).
