Meijer Stores LP is seeking an Analyst, Pharmacy Supply Chain to ensure a high-service, cost-effective, and compliant Pharmacy Supply Chain (PSC) network, including PDA, CF1, and CF2 operations. In this role, you will fulfill Suspicious Order Monitoring responsibilities and define, develop, and report on compliance and efficiency within the PSC organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage Suspicious Order Monitoring by identifying and investigating suspicious activity using various reporting tools to comply with state and federal laws.
- Identify and work with retail pharmacies to substantiate orders of unusual size, frequency, or pattern deviation.
- Review and analyze automation system performance, establishing models to ensure data integrity and validation.
- Hold automation system vendors accountable via a support fee holdback program.
- Prepare and implement PSC growth plans using system data to achieve best-in-class PDA and CF utilization rates.
- Monitor Central Fill automation provider performance and drive improvements for increased utilization.
- Develop and recommend supply chain design scenarios to optimize the PSC network.
- Effectively manage and negotiate with key stakeholders across the pharmacy supply chain to drive change.
- Recognize innovative opportunities applicable to the PSC that benefit Meijer retail pharmacies.
- Identify cost efficiencies and analyze current best-in-class business practices.
- Integrate the actions of the three PSC operations into a comprehensive plan supporting overall capital and financial goals.
- Conduct analysis on key performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, determine root causes, and develop resolution plans.
- Lead initiatives from opportunity identification through to resolution.
- Lead the team in the absence of a manager and lead other supply chain analysts within distribution as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- 5 years of experience in Pharmacy Analytics.
- Significant systems experience and understanding, including Pharmacy-specific systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices within the retail and pharmacy industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and expertise that inspires confidence in teams.
- Proficiency with office computer skills and the ability to learn company systems and tools.
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, primarily MS Excel and Access Database.
- A strong curiosity for exploring new data sources and tools.
Nice to Have
- Preference for Microsoft application experience.
- Experience with HVS and SBMO/PDX.
- Previous SQL or other coding experience.
