EMD Serono is seeking an Analyst to handle the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our applications and servers. As part of our technology team, you will play a key role in ensuring system reliability and performance, working in an agile environment that values diverse perspectives and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Handle the development and maintenance of .NET applications.
- Optimize SQL queries to minimize execution cost and improve performance.
- Develop and debug Python and PySpark solutions.
- Troubleshoot server-related issues and support application and server monitoring.
- Work closely with other technology teams to provide timely fixes and updates, ensuring alignment with SLAs.
- Document issues and resolutions, contributing to knowledge management and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bring new ideas to the table for addressing and resolving issues.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and updates on issue resolution status.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technology-driven, agile framework environment.
- Proficiency in .NET, C#, Object-Oriented Programming, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Understanding of data analysis, data representation tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with cross-team collaboration and communication.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
