Dyno Nobel was looking for an Ammonia Technician

IncitecPivot is seeking an Ammonia Technician to join our team at Phosphate Hill. Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for meeting production volume, safety, and quality targets, performing housekeeping duties, resolving operating issues, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Complete training modules and get signed off in ammonia plant operations.
  • Participate in the departmental safety program.
  • Monitor plant condition and intervene if necessary.
  • Perform minor maintenance on plant and equipment if competent and assist in maintenance activities.
  • Participate in the execution of plant start-up and shutdown when required.

What We're Looking For

  • A commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Previous ammonia plant process experience.
  • High levels of mechanical aptitude and process troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have

  • An advanced Boiler and Steam Turbine ticket.
  • Experience with DCS systems and exposure to process control systems.
