AmeriSave Mortgage Corp. is building a team dedicated to being the best and seeks a remote Lock Desk Analyst to join them. In this role, you will be responsible for locking loans with investors and our internal loan origination system, ensuring adherence to rate lock policies, and supporting production staff.

What You'll Do

• Lock loans with investors and internal LOS; research and complete re-locks professionally
• Manage the Lock Desk queue efficiently, providing timely support to Loan Origination units
• Enforce AmeriSave Rate Lock Policy while collaborating with Loan Officers and Operations Staff
• Aid production support staff in challenging pricing situations
• Offer solutions to improve system processes and maintain the accuracy of the internal pricing engine
• Process lock requests and cancellations with investors

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of Pricing or Lock Desk Support experience
• 3+ years of general Mortgage experience
• Working knowledge of the secondary mortgage market framework, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/VA programs
• Ability to deal effectively and courteously with external and internal clients
• Strong critical thinking and math skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Non-agency product knowledge: jumbo, HELOC, HELOAN, DSCR, DPA Assistance, Renovation, personal lending
• SQL knowledge

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Lock Desk Manager and work closely with the Lock Desk Manager and Information Technology Team to maintain system accuracy and improve processes.
