We are seeking an intermediate-level Network Administrator specializing in security to support our network environment's daily operations. The ideal candidate possesses 4–5 years of hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies in an enterprise setting. This role is operationally focused and requires participation in on-call rotations to maintain 24/7 critical network service availability. Network Operations & Support - Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity - Resolve network incidents and service requests efficiently - Execute routine maintenance and device upgrades following change management protocols - Coordinate branch and remote site connectivity with ISPs and vendors WAN & Security Management - Manage WAN technologies including MPLS, SD-WAN, site-to-site VPNs - Configure and maintain firewalls and security policies - Implement secure network architectures with segmentation and access control - Support network security standards deployment across sites Monitoring, Incident Response & On-Call - Monitor network performance using management tools - Investigate and resolve network alerts and security events - Participate in after-hours support rotation - Escalate complex incidents while maintaining oversight Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Maintain accurate network documentation - Contribute to knowledge base and standard operating procedures - Identify and propose improvements for recurring issues - Support network project implementations Collaboration - Collaborate with systems, security, and service desk teams - Provide technical input for security initiatives - Communicate network issues clearly to stakeholders Qualifications - 4–5 years enterprise network administration experience - Proficiency in WAN technologies and internet circuits - Experience with enterprise firewalls and VPN solutions - Understanding of routing, switching, and Wi-Fi networks - Familiarity with network monitoring tools - Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications - Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE) - Multi-site environment experience - SD-WAN and next-generation firewall exposure - Basic scripting/automation skills Offerings - Competitive compensation - Vacation and benefits - RRSP matching program - Annual tuition scholarship - Professional development support - Engaging work environment
