ALTEN is looking for a Senior Packaging Planner (all gender) to take responsibility for planning, controlling, and monitoring packaging orders within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will be a key coordinator between production, logistics, procurement, and quality control.
What You'll Do
- Plan, control, and monitor packaging orders considering capacities, material availability, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate all interfaces between production, logistics, procurement, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Ensure all packaging materials (e.g., folding boxes, labels, blister packs) are available on time and in the correct version.
- Actively work on optimizing packaging processes and material flows to increase efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Ensure all packaging activities are performed in compliance with GMP and GDP.
- Support audits and customer audits in the Packaging and Supply Chain areas.
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in pharmaceutical technology, packaging technology, industrial engineering, logistics, or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in packaging planning or production control in a GxP-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements and a good understanding of quality systems.
- Proficient use of ERP systems (e.g., SAP PP/MM) and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, forward-looking planning, and enjoyment in structuring complex processes.
- Negotiation-level German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally at a pharmaceutical service provider or manufacturer.
- Experience with planning tools or MES systems is a plus.
