KLA is hiring an Algorithm Engineer for the Algorithm Group within its Reticle Product Division. In this role, you will design and develop advanced algorithms for KLA’s inspection platforms, applying expertise in image processing, computer vision, mathematics, and software engineering.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement advanced algorithms for image segmentation, classification, and defect detection.
- Translate complex requirements into generalized mathematical models and develop customized algorithmic solutions.
- Propose novel approaches and deliver production-quality, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with field teams and customers to support deployments and ensure seamless integration at customer sites.
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize image quality and manage error budgets.
- Develop robust, scalable software using modern C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Contribute to long-term codebase health through thoughtful design, refactoring, and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 6+ years of relevant experience.
