Brooks Automation is looking for a Computer Vision Software Intern for a Summer Internship within our Atmospheric Solutions Engineering organization. You will contribute to the development of image processing algorithms used in robotic systems, focusing on the entire pipeline from data collection to training and testing.
What You'll Do
- Develop and test image processing algorithms used in robotic systems.
- Work on the entire pipeline from data collection to training and testing models.
- Improve existing image processing algorithms.
- Work with electrical and mechanical engineers as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science (or similar) Undergraduate or Graduate Degree program.
- Experience in Computer Vision and Image Processing algorithms such as object detection/tracking, segmentation analysis and depth estimation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, C#.
- Experience using GIT source control and containerization technologies.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of current DL literature and the mathematical foundations of machine learning.
- Experience in working on robotics and motion control related software.
