Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a graduate student for a 10–12 week summer research internship within our Computer Vision team. You will work on advanced projects in medical image analysis, contributing to the development of algorithms that support our mission to build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured.
What You'll Do
- Develop, improve, and validate deep learning–based joint registration algorithms for longitudinal radiology imaging.
- Work on self‑supervised learning and transformer architectures to enhance robustness, accuracy, and downstream clinical measurements.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a PhD Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or related Medical or Computer fields.
- Experience with Medical Image analysis, Computer vision, or Medical Image Registration, or any publications in these related fields.
- Knowledge of Python and PyTorch.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship of an employment visa at the time of application or in the future.

Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $23.00/hr to $51.50/hr.
- Eligibility to participate in Company-sponsored employee medical benefits.
- Sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees in Washington State, up to 56 hours per calendar year.
- Eligibility to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
Work Mode
This is an onsite internship at one of the following locations: Cambridge, Massachusetts; La Jolla, California; or Titusville, New Jersey.
