Penn State Hazleton is looking for a Part-Time Alcohol Prevention Outreach Assistant to engage directly with our student population. You'll be central to raising awareness and reducing high-risk drinking behaviors through targeted outreach and programming.
What You'll Do
- Raise awareness for underage and high-risk drinking through targeted programming, tabling, and direct student outreach.
- Assist in scheduling and facilitating social media campaigns focused on prevention.
- Assist in scheduling and facilitating alternative activities designed to decrease high-risk drinking.
- Work some evening programming hours to connect with students.

- Strong organizational skills for scheduling campaigns and events.
- Initiative and comfort with direct student outreach.
- Reliability in working independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility in hours to accommodate the campus schedule and evening programming needs.
Team & Environment
This position is part of the Student Engagement Department, reporting directly to the Campus Counselor and Campus Nurse at Penn State Hazleton.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at Penn State Hazleton.
