As the AI Technical Lead at Martell Group, you will be the engineering engine, translating validated recruiting problems into fast, scalable AI products. You'll work directly with a commercially proven co-founder under our venture studio model, owning everything from architecture and code to product velocity.
What You'll Do
- Translate validated user problems into fast, functional MVPs.
- Own the full stack: from AI integrations to modular codebases.
- Build and ship rapidly without over-engineering.
- Manage the product roadmap in tight sync with the CEO.
- Drive clean UX, performance, and iteration speed.
- Leverage LLMs, automation, and AI-native tooling to 10x recruiting workflows.
- Build smart growth loops and feedback mechanisms into the product.
- Own code quality, technical hiring, and engineering standards from day one.
- Set a high bar for performance, security, and scalability.
- Contribute directly as a solo builder while preparing for scale.
- Operate as the internal compass for all things tech.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience building and scaling SaaS products or AI tools.
- Strong experience with AI/LLMs, automation, and modern full-stack frameworks.
- Experience shipping products end-to-end in a startup or lean environment.
- Deep knowledge of low-code tools, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Ability to work solo in the early stages: scrappy, focused, and autonomous.
- High standards for code quality, UX, and engineering speed.
Nice to Have
- Experience in recruiting tech, marketplaces, or HR platforms.
- Prior role as a founding engineer, lead developer, or technical co-founder.
- Familiarity with performance optimization, DevOps, and rapid release cycles.
- Product intuition backed by user empathy and feedback loops.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary: $110,000.
- Equity stake in the venture.
