Auditdata is hiring an AI Platform Lead to be the hands-on technical owner of a new platform powering intelligent features for our cloud-based retail system for hearing care. You will design, build, and operate production AI services, lead a team, and collaborate with stakeholders to evolve the technical direction.

What You'll Do

Design, implement, and operate cloud-native AI services on Azure, integrating with .NET microservices and Kubernetes.
Design and own Azure AI infrastructure.
Own and evolve a speech-to-text transcription pipeline.
Build and maintain LLM-driven data transformation capabilities including prompt/template management, RAG, and safety controls.
Design and own an agent framework as a reusable platform for all products, orchestrating tools and multi-step workflows.
Lead best practices, support architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Lead and mentor a group of engineers, reviewing designs and pull requests.
Drive improvements in code quality, resilience, and observability.
Collaborate closely with architects to co-create and refine AI-related architecture.
Partner with product and other engineering teams to define APIs/SDKs and prioritize platform work.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience building and operating backend or platform services in production.
Strong experience with .NET and/or Python, and cloud-native services (microservices, APIs, messaging).
Knowledge of MCP, MAF, and Microsoft Foundry.
Hands-on experience building AI-powered features or services (e.g., RAG, prompt management, tool-calling, agent workflows).
Experience integrating with speech-to-text providers (Azure, Whisper, or similar) or strong willingness to learn quickly.
Previous experience as a tech lead/team lead owning systems end-to-end.
Solid engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and reliability.

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare/regulated domains.
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and global deployments.
Azure experience (AKS, App Services, API Management, Key Vault, etc.).
Experience designing internal platforms/SDKs that other teams consume.
