Trusted Shops is hiring an AI Engineer*in (f/m/d) to join our AI Solutions Team. As an AI Engineer, you will play a central role in developing the intelligence that drives our products, services, and internal processes. You will build AI solutions to solve key business challenges and help shape the future of Agentic Commerce.

What You'll Do

• Train and fine-tune Machine Learning and Generative AI models to solve business challenges like Churn Prediction, Content Creation, and Trust Scoring.
• Design and build autonomous AI Agents that solve problems independently and interact seamlessly with users and systems.
• Develop state-of-the-art Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and intelligent Agents integrated with external tools and data sources via Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Create universal Classifiers, Scoring Engines, and Prompts accessible via APIs and serverless architectures like AWS Lambda.
• Connect AI solutions with key internal platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Trusted Shops' own applications for seamless system integration.
• Ensure all solutions are explainable, trustworthy, and compliant with core values of transparency and reliability.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in developing Machine Learning (ML) and/or Generative AI (GenAI) systems.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with modern Machine Learning and Generative AI frameworks, libraries, and toolchains.
• Practical understanding of MCP (Model, Context, Prompt) concepts.
• Experience in designing, building, and scaling APIs and AI-based services.
• A data-driven mindset focused on metrics, continuous feedback, and product impact.
• Fluent English language skills.
• A collaborative, curious, and purpose-driven way of working.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts – experience building autonomous workflows, planning logic, or multi-agent systems is a plus.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
