Fella & Delilah is hiring an AI Engineer to join Aios Medical. In this role, you will build AI systems that power critical growth and patient care delivery. You will focus on one of two key areas: developing tools for user acquisition and conversion (Growth), or automating care delivery workflows (ClinicOS). You'll work end-to-end, from writing code to managing deployment, all aimed at improving efficiency and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Build and own AI systems across both growth and operational functions.
- Build and maintain core AI infrastructure connecting Large Language Models to the application stack, including evaluation, monitoring, and fallback systems.
- Automate high-impact processes within the platform, such as image and document checks, data validation, and smart copilots.
- Build AI tools that drive user conversion and lead capture flows, including chat and voice agents.
- Measure outcomes, ship features, test, and refine weekly using clear performance metrics.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years in software engineering with hands-on experience in AI, backend, or systems work.
- Proven experience shipping LLM applications (e.g., prompt design, RAG, fine-tuning, or evaluation).
- Strong coding skills in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Experience designing and building modern, reliable APIs.
- Comfortable creating simple internal tools using React or similar frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and take projects from concept to production.
- Understands how to test, monitor, and improve model performance in a production environment.
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure basics: Vector databases, embeddings, orchestration frameworks.
- Experience building systems that track model quality and reliability.
- Experience with large data pipelines or distributed systems.
- AWS or similar cloud platform experience.
- Experience with OCR, image processing, or document pipelines.
- Computer Science background: Degree or equivalent foundational knowledge.
- Public contributions or visible open source projects.
