hyperexponential is hiring an AI Engineer to expand our Engineering Velocity team. Your mission is to empower engineers to deliver better, faster, and safer by applying AI to improve developer workflows and lead new initiatives.

What You'll Do

Lead AI-driven initiatives to improve how engineers work, automating tasks and accelerating decision-making.
Shape AI adoption at hx by defining the approach and implementing the best AI tools and techniques.
Collaborate and share knowledge to make AI accessible, fostering a culture of learning.
Push the boundaries of what's possible with AI to make the team faster and more effective.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience building internal tooling and platforms to support engineering teams.
Hands-on experience working with LLMs or related AI technologies.
Strong experience in DevOps practices with knowledge of AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
Strong programming skills in Python, including its ecosystem for AI/ML (PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Ability to think from the user’s perspective and design solutions that improve developer experience.
Experience taking ownership of projects and leading initiatives from inception to delivery.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
