Skin + Me is hiring an AI Creative Technologist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You'll join the in-house Creative team to integrate AI tools and practices across creative workflows, enabling innovation through hands-on work, team training, and system building. Your work will unlock efficiency and elevate output across content, design, and production within our mission-driven startup.
What You'll Do
- Identify opportunities for AI adoption within creative pipelines, such as copywriting, video editing, and visual design.
- Prototype and deploy AI-enhanced tools tailored to the team’s needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate AI into core workflows without disrupting brand integrity or creative standards.
- Run hands-on sessions and knowledge shares to upskill the team on AI tools and practices.
- Build guides, templates, and internal resources to make AI use accessible across disciplines.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and ensure the team is equipped to benefit from them.
- Work closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing stakeholders to bring AI-enhanced ideas to life.
- Partner with tech and product teams to ensure seamless implementation of AI tools or automation processes.
- Build quick prototypes and test tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, RunwayML, and Adobe Firefly to solve creative challenges.
- Evaluate new platforms and suggest the right tools for the team to adopt.
- Debug and tweak scripts or creative automations to ensure stability and scalability.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working at the intersection of AI and creativity, ideally in a fast-paced brand or studio setting.
- Confidence in using and training others on tools like ChatGPT, Adobe Express, Midjourney, Firefly, RunwayML, Stable Diffusion, Figma, Veed.io, and CupCut.
- Passion for empowering others, whether through clear documentation, live demos, or collaborative prototyping.
- Strong communication skills and a creative sensibility aligned with Skin + Me’s brand tone, voice, and aesthetic.
- A curious, proactive, and inclusive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
Nice to Have
- Basic comfort with scripting and technical workflows (Python, Bash, Git).
- 3D design / Blender knowledge.
- Experience training non-technical creatives on emerging technologies.
- A portfolio showcasing AI-enhanced creative projects.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and node-based tools like ComfyUI.
- Previous experience within health, wellness, beauty, or direct-to-consumer brands.
